Immanuel Doebrich As weather was really nice and it was finally the flight I would finish as "captain" I decided to go a bit lower and vfr. I flew down Johnston Straight as well as Straight of Georgia following the coastline. I did a low pass over Victorias Rwy 09 and circled back north, than west to land water runway 12 of Victoria Airport Water Aerodrom (CAP5). Landing was for sure not my best but in fact the first ever onto water. I lowered the gear in the water and took the ramp to get to the amphibious tarmac up there. That should have been the second touch down logged by smartcars .-) This Cat is an absolutele great and stunning plane - I LOVE it!!! Logged over 125 hours meanwhile I should be captain now, right? If so I`m going to have a really good Single Malt Speyside Whisky now and as soon as you have confirmed this flight I`ll do a little "reward" for myself: I`m going to buy the DC-4/C-54 of Flight - Replicas which is in the 50% - sale actually Cheers my dear and have a nice evening .-)
William Dietrich Man! Awesome flight! Well done!
