This tour is designed to make good use of that scenery but of course the tour can be completed without the add on scenery. Description: From the Arctic wastes in the north to the tropical seas in the south, from the fringes of Europe in the west to Alaska in the east, Asia is by far the largest continent on the planet at over 17 million square miles. 92 degrees of latitude from the very north to the very south and 180 degrees of longitude east to west, this massive landmass is the target for our tour which will be in 2 parts and take well over a year to complete. So hop aboard the DC4 and join us on Vatsim & Discord at 13:00Z or 18:00Z every Sunday during the summer, 14:00Z or 18:00Z during the winter for the adventure of a lifetime. This tour is X-plane friendly, note that legs 38 & 39 have an x-plane alternative location. Many thanks to BFL1731-John Forrest for putting together this epic tour. Description: Welcome to this special tour celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the founding of Buffalo Airways Virtual! This tour begins at Yellowknife, where preparations are under way for a celebratory party to commemorate the occasion. We're going to be 'crossing the pond' to Newcastle, a city in the NE of the UK, to pick up Thomas Emms, one of our founding members, and bring him back to Yellowknife. After dropping him off, we'll then head for Vancouver to collect another founding member, Randy Kearnes and bring him back to Yellowknife. On return the festivities can begin! To commemorate this anniversary, a special GOLD re-paint of the DC3 is available from the download section. Thanks to BFL4869-Curtis Renshaw for the excellent re-paint. They stretch more than 3000 miles from the northernmost part of British Columbia in western Canada to New Mexico in the southwestern United States.
