Flying the DC3 C-FLFR, we set off from the home of Buffalo Airways, Yellowknife, staging through Fort McMurray, The Pas and Red Lake before arriving at Thunder Bay to start the tour. We'll be at a fairly low level for the entire tour, so ample opportunity to take in the views! At the tour conclusion, we re-trace the route home to Yellowknife.

Description: July's tour, time to get the big toys out. Buffalo has just signed a contract to carry cargo and supplies to the multiple stations in Antarctica. Buffalo has assigned one of their Lockheed L-188 Electra's to the job which is based out of Sydney. Australia. This is a really demanding mission. long flights - un-forgiving weather and ice runways. There are more than 100 people living in Antarctica and some of the stations hold more in the summer month and they are relying on Buffalo to get them their grub. Good luck to all and see you back in Yellowknife. THIS TOUR WILL END ON 30th NOVEMBER 2019.
