Grand Tour of Europe 2017

Status: Active
Description: A tour which takes us around the continent of Europe. For those who use the excellent add on scenery produced by Orbx, Europe is one of the major areas of coverage, with the whole of the UK, Norway and part of Germany covered. This tour is designed to make good use of that scenery but of course the tour can be completed without the add on scenery. Special Thanks to BFL1731 John Forrest for putting this tour together for us. END DATE PERMANENT.

DC-3s to the Florida Keys
DC-3s to the Florida Keys

Status: Complete
Description: The Nunatsiavut Assembly of Northern Labrador, has chartered C-GPNR with Buffalo Airways Virtual. We are to transport Assembly members, the Inuit Leadership Group, members of The National Voice for Inuit Communities (ITK), and band leaders from across Inuit lands, to an international convention on water conservation and forest fire prevention. This two part meeting will be taking place late October, 2023 in Key West, Florida at the historic La Concha Hotel. Though there are faster aircraft and more direct routes to the Florida Keys, the group will be making multiple stops along their way to meet with local governments, historians and environmental organizations to share Inuit traditions and beliefs as they relate to the environmental impact of climate change in North America and specifically to Inuit lands. Though the tour can be completed in just a few days; It is recommended to fly one or two legs per day to allow the delegation time to meet with local officials at each stop. Meetings will typically last 3 to 4 hours. After which, depending on time of day, they will want to get to their next destination for some rest and/or more meetings. These flights are open to Ramp Hands and above; all airports are supportable in FSX, P3D, *X-Plane and **MSFS. *XP and **MSFS users MUST install freeware Scenery for CYDP (add-on links and leg details are available in the Forum).
